Our shows are based on Working Kelpies—highly intelligent canines considered the backbone of rural Australia. These dogs have played a vital role in farming for generations, and our demonstrations showcase their incredible working ability.
At Hawkesbury Working Kelpie Stud, we offer two ways to witness these incredible dogs in action:
Live Shows at Events – Available for agricultural shows, rural festivals, field days, and special events.
On-Farm Demonstrations – A unique experience for tour buses, school groups, and visitors wanting to see a real working Kelpie demonstration up close in an authentic farm setting.

What we provide
When you book a Hawkesbury Working Kelpie Stud Show, you get a fully equipped, professional setup, including:
✔ Insurance – Public Liability cover with a certificate of currency up to $20M.
✔ Dogs – A team of highly trained, working Kelpies.
✔ Sheep – A mob of well-trained Merinos for demonstrations.
✔ Pups – Available for hands-on interaction and petting.
✔ Yards – A fully constructed set of portable panels to create our working area.
✔ Professional Commentator – Anthony Attard, an experienced handler and trainer with over 30 years of experience, will guide the audience through the demonstrations and answer questions.
✔ Petting Pen – Available all day, allowing visitors to safely interact with Kelpie pups and even have their photo taken.
✔ Performance Setups – Small or large setups to accommodate various event sizes.
✔ Multiple Shows Per Day – We offer 30-minute performances throughout the day.

Our Mission
To help people better understand the importance of working dogs, their role in Australian agriculture, and how to work with them effectively.
Through education and hands-on experiences, we hope to inspire a greater appreciation for these remarkable dogs and equip people with the knowledge to train and care for their own Working Kelpies.
